Goodbye Harvard!

On May 27, 2010 I (finally) graduated from Harvard Graduate School of Education. Harvard graduation was an experience! We lined up at 7:30 am after riding the T in full regalia. By the 9:45 start, the outdoor theater in the Harvard Yard was a sea of black and crimson. I received my diploma in the afternoon, along with about 680 other education graduate students, with each name receiving a separate applause. Despite the hours of standing around, Commencement was probably my favorite part of my Harvard year. Tradition, regality, and excitement. (Next time I graduate, I better be wearing a royal velvet doctoral gown!)

Now that I've left Harvard, my second Ivy-league experience, I'm ready to begin the rest of my life, and commence the real Education of Ivy.
